The Middle Way Retreat Centre (MWRC) is a serene spiritual and workshop facility located in the picturesque Shivganga Valley. It is situated in the foothills of the historic Sinhgad Fort, approximately 35 kilometers from Pune city center.

How to Reach the Center

Kondhanpur is well-connected to Pune, which serves as the primary transit hub.

  • By Flight: The nearest airport is Pune International Airport (PNQ), located about 45–50 km from the center. From the airport, you can hire a private taxi or use a ride-sharing app to reach the retreat directly.

  • By Train: Pune Junction is the major railway station nearby. From the station, you can take a local bus toward the Swargate bus stand and then catch a bus heading toward Kondhanpur or Sinhgad, or simply hire a cab for a more direct 1.5-hour journey.

  • By Bus: State transport (MSRTC) and local PMPML buses run frequently from Pune city (especially Swargate) toward the Sinhgad/Kondhanpur area. Look for buses going to “Kondhanpur” or those stopping at the Kondhanpur Phata.

  • By Car: The center is easily accessible by road and is only about 5 km from the Mumbai-Bangalore Expressway (NH48). If driving from Pune, take the exit at Khed Shivapur toward Kondhanpur.
